As Six Flag New England’s flagship restaurant, this is one of those places at a theme park that you have to squint at real hard and wonder, “Does the food actually taste any good?” Well, at JB’s Smokehouse Barbeque they try their best with what they’ve got.
With a pretty extensive menu there should be a little of something for everyone with options like BBQ, burgers, and salads.

In Crackaxle Canyon you’ll find this next to the Saloon and across from Good Eats Café (which is not in use at this time).

Drinks at this location have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, which gives you the option to explore the flavors you want and create your own drink combination.
I’ve eaten one meal here before with my then 8 year old nephew, but at the time I wanted to spend more time with him over trying to catch content for the blog. What I will say is that the food that I had was OK here, nothing to particularly scoff at, but definitely nothing to go bananas over.
My nephew barely ate his food (picky eater) and I am very sure I ate all of mine – whatever that was.
The major issue with this location was the lack of any filled condiment bottles at the table and the tables were pretty grody so that made eating there feel uncomfortable. We did sit indoors for the AC and we were there for Kids Boo Fest 2022 in early October, just to give you an idea of how busy the park was (which it wasn’t).
