Gator McGee’s

Gator McGee’s: A Bayou-themed eatery with a puzzling Italian menu. While the name promises a Southern delight, the reality is a bit of a letdown.

Instead of Cajun classics like po’boys and beignets, you’ll find pizza. Given Maryland’s love for crabs, it’s a missed opportunity to serve up some delicious crab cakes.

Perhaps one day, Gator McGee’s will embrace its namesake and offer a more authentic Cajun experience.

Located in the Mardi Gras neighborhood, Gator McGee’s can be found next to Hurricane’s and directly across from the railroad crossing.
