As a proud New Englander originally hailing from the depths of New York City, Dunkin’ Donuts is the place to be for a hot cup o’ joe and a donut on the way to work.
Heading into a place like Lake Compounce isn’t a regular day at the office (unless, you know… you run a website about theme park food!), but that first cup of coffee is still a must-have for many when preparing for a fun and exhausting day in the sun with friends and family.
I’m no donut aficionado, but I do love a good Sugar donut, and a Boston Creme as a backup. Since I’m not normally a coffee drinker (hey fellow tea drinkers!), I go for their refreshers.
Quick note, this location has not changed its name to the official new name of Dunkin’ but they are still one and the same for those who may be confused.
Where to find Dunkin’ Donuts?
There is a permanent building to the right of the main pathway past The Potato Patch and in front of the Wave Swinger. You’ll see it on your left-hand side beside a little arcade spot.
If you’re not up for a donut though you could try out the Fried Dough stand which is a few feet away at the end of the building.

Because of the nature of Dunkin’ Donuts, the menu practically speaks for itself. Full transparency that there may never be actual food reviews for any franchised chain. If I have a particularly good or bad experience, I’ll obviously tell you about it.
