This is exceedingly exciting – the second update of the year! Yay!
I honestly wrote this in a hurry because I completely forgot that July is the start of a new quarter (crazy!), so if you’re someone who even reads this – my bad. What I will say is that Q2 was rough for me toward the end. I didn’t accomplish as much as I thought I would regarding social media, but I did pretty well nonetheless.
OK, let’s hop into this.
Q2 Overview
This quarter there was a notable change to the set up of the menus on the site. Instead of the menus being written out in bulletin form is now in a more professional looking menu to help with SEO and mainly with user experience. With clear tabs and clear numbers it makes seeing offerings easier for everyone.
There are some things that the menu can’t do, but I have had to make some concessions but nonetheless they make me very happy (and hopefully for those checking out the menus, too) to see everything more polished.

Content Creation
I didn’t write nearly as much this quarter compared to Q1, but I did a decent job I think. I was hoping to create 3 more before this quarter ended, but my ADHD was on fire this last month. (Bulletins are clickable below).

Engagement
The newsletter waitlist’s walls came down and there have been a wonderful number of people signing up (truly glad you’re here!). Seems to be an issue with the two-factor email verification though, but it’s something I can’t walk away from as I want to ensure that the people who want to be here are actually wanting that.
And social media? Yeah, that was a bust once again. For now, but I have an idea…
Q3 Plans
Menus and Pricing
I have three parks with menus ready for input, so I know for a fact that I have those to look forward to. I also have to add Universal Studios Florida at Universal Orlando to the website, but also I’d like to add any booths that are scattered around both of the Universal Orlando parks, too.
Maybe I’ll also add their hotels, too? I don’t know.
Newsletter
There have been three newsletters go out so far and I’m finding my stride in it. I’d like it to grow a bit more to help more people, but I’m a bit stumped on how to get more people to sign up. Maybe I’m not helping enough? I don’t know. Research will need to be done.
Food Guides & Tips
I’ll be concentrating on writing more guides and tips. The goal is 18 articles this quarter – I definitely think I can do that for sure. I’m pretty busy otherwise, but I’ll make the time.
There will need to be a guide for Food & Wine for sure as that’s coming up in late August, so, be on the lookout for that!
And that’s all folks, I’m enthused for Q3 and to see the site grow more and help waaaay more people.
Thanks so much for making us your theme park food companion, bon appétit. 🥨
