Happy New Year, theme park foodies!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. Mine was a bit meh, but that’s because I was coming up with a plan to make the blog make more sense for the upcoming year. Now that 2024 is here, I’d like to lay some things out on the table to keep me accountable.
Recap, 2023

Plans for the Year, 2024
- Starting a newsletter. Since I don’t have one, I am doing these updates as it’s an easy way to get information out to anyone who is regularly checking in for new menus, pricing, or really anything related to food. I’ll keep you abreast of when the newsletter will happen, most likely Q2.
- More blog posts geared toward theme park food. I have a general idea of posts I will be writing, mainly more guides to specific parks that I visit (or will visit). Since the website is still in its inaugural year I’m not going to pretend like this is some professional website with an entire team behind it. It really and truly is only me here (hi!) and I’ll be writing relevant content that I believe will help more people than just a niched down amount of people for the foreseeable future. This is a Q1 focus.
- Social media will be a focus within the next few months. I’m quite scared of social media and getting content out there. I don’t know why I am social media-phobic, but I’m going to dive headfirst into making sure I get digital content out there for those who want it. Definitely around Q2 if I haven’t gotten to it by the end of Q1.
New look. Personally, I’m not a fan of how the website currently looks, however, I don’t have the time to change anything around right now. By Q4 the aim is to have a completely different vibe and handle on the website. If you have any suggestions as to things to add I would be happy to hear your feedback.(Completed Jan 2024)- Update any current park menus on the website. New year, new prices unfortunately. I will be trying my best to get to updating all of the parks that I have been able to visit in the past, however, I may not be able to do so depending on location. Right now, I’m currently in Florida but I will do my best!
- Addition of new theme parks and their menus. Of course, this website is all about theme park food and it would obviously make sense to add more menus. The current plan is for some locations within WDW, Universal (though to be honest, these will be less menus and more reviews-based since their menus are already online and updated very frequently), Knoebels, Dorney Park, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Carowinds, Lost Island, Schlitterbahn Galveston and New Braunfels, Nickelodeon Universe, and Hershey Park. These parks were chosen in October 2023 before my move to Florida, so, things most likely will change.
And that’s it! I aimed to keep this very succinct so it’s doable and attainable, but I got a bit carried away with the realization of all that needs to be done to create as good of a compendium for families as possible. If you’re new here, welcome, and if you’ve been here for a little while, heeeey!
In any case, thank you for letting Theme Park Bites be your tasty theme park companion, have a fantastic and fulfilling 2024.
