In this comprehensive guide, we’ll dive deep into the festival, providing you with the ultimate foodie experience. You’ll find detailed menus and an overview of the festival to help you navigate this foodie wonderland.
If you’re looking for the prices, you find that here in this blog post.
So, grab your appetite and get ready to embark on an unforgettable gastronomic adventure! 🤤
When does EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival Run in 2024?
It runs between August 29 and November 18, 2024 at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT in Orlando, Florida. It does not require an extra ticket as the festival comes with the price of admission to EPCOT.
What is EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival?
As the oldest theme park festival at Disney, EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival is a celebration of global cuisine. The festival runs annually transforming the park into a foodie paradise (yum!).
Dozens of countries around World Showcase set up booths serving delicious bites and drinks. There’s also live music, special events, and culinary demonstrations. It’s a must-do for any Disney World visitor who loves good food!
Things to Do Around the Food and Wine Festival
Surprise, there’s more to do around EPCOT during Food and Wine Festival than meets the eye (isn’t there always?). As with all Disney festivals, pick up a booklet. There are many locations to pick one up – at the entrance right after scanning on, on the main pathway into World Showcase, and at each of the booths’ registers.
The booklet is incredibly useful to help you navigate around the park and see what is where and it comes with a guide of food to try on the back panel of the booklet where you’ll be rewarded a free treat.
During Festival of the Arts (2024) the treats were an Artist Palette Sugar Cookie and a Wild Berry Smoothie in a souvenir cup, whereas during the Flower and Garden Festival (2024) the treats were a packet of seeds and a pineapple Dole Whip. So, yeah!
Eat Around the Beat Concert Series (and Dining Packages)
You’ve probably been walking around the park a lot by this time, so take a seat and listen to some fun tunes at the America Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure Pavilion.
There is an option to grab a dining package that secures a guaranteed seat during the concert. The dining package is for a full-service restaurant from Fridays to Mondays.
The event happens nightly at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:00 PM.

The Eat Around the Beat Dining Packages are available for purchase starting July 9, 2024. To clarify from earlier, packages are unavailable on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays and require a credit card guarantee to reserve your slot.
The only restaurant without reservations is a Same-Day Dining Package at Regal Eagle Smokehouse that does guarantee seats as well, so there’s nothing to worry about there. You’ll have to check in the day of and there’s a potential for the dining packages to be unavailable on peak dates.
However, knowing the way that packages disappear at Walt Disney World, reserve as early as you can.
When making reservations, despite the age, all guests should be accounted for (yes, that includes your newborn baby) as it holds their seat during the concert.
Reserved restaurants are as follows: Akershus Royal Banquet, Biergarten Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Garden Grill Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Rose and Crown Dining Room, and Spice Road Table. Prices are below (please use the drop-down to choose which restaurant you’re looking for) and do not include tax or gratuity!
The prices are split between Adult and Child with a couple dining packages including breakfast and lunch/dinner options.
Codes: A = adults (ages 10+), K = kids (ages 3-9)
Scavenger Hunts
There are three scavenger hunts around EPCOT (and I’ll finally partake in at least one of them, brimming with excitement – woo!):
- Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak – How many Remy’s can you find around EPCOT?
- Emile’s Fromage Montage – Purchase 5 cheese dishes, collect a stamp for each, and receive a completer prize when you do! 🧀
- Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit – Purchase a game board and stickers at participating locations (Creations Shops, Port of Entry, or World Traveler) and lookout for pumpkins as you travel through EPCOT. Once you complete your board return your board to Disney Traders or World Traveler for a surprise! Game board redemption is valid through November 1, 2024 or while surprise supplies last.

Must-Try Dishes and Beverages
Food and Wine festival is the most popular festival that happens at Walt Disney World and as such, it’s the largest, and the most highly attended of them all. So, it maybe goes without saying that there will be a lot of must-try dishes and beverages during this festival.
Popular EPCOT Food and Wine Festival 2023 Items
If you haven’t yet, there’s an app called Food & Wine that’s excellent at allocating all of the Walt Disney World festivals into a concise spot. These popular items are from real people who reviewed throughout the festival, so take it up with them if you don’t like this list!
In no particular order:
- Beer-braised Beef from Belgium
- Canadian Cheddar and Bacon from Canada
- Canadian Filet Mignon from Canada
- Ciderboys Mango Tango Hard Cider from Refreshment Outpost
- DOLE Whip from Refreshment Outpost (of course!)
- Fry Flight from The Fry Basket
- Guinness Bailey’s Coffee Shake from Ireland
- Keel Farms Raspberry Citrus Hard Cider from Morocco’s Tangierine Café
- Pao de Queijo from Brazil
- Pickle Fries from The Fry Basket
Of course, that doesn’t mean that that is all that there is, there are things that I’m simply excited for. I usually wouldn’t do this, but because this list is so vast I figured I would let you in on something more personal considering that there is a real human being behind the blog.
Items I’m Excited For During EPCOT Food and Wine 2024
- All of the macaroni & cheese at Macatizers (I’m a sucker for mac & cheese, thank you)
- Fry Flight at The Fry Basket
- Ramen with shaved beef at The Noodle Exchange
- Crispy Duck Bao Bun with hoisin sauce at China
- New York-style Hot Dog (take me back to my roots please, I beg of you, Disney! I MISS HOME!)

- Fruited Sour Beer and Sparkling Wine Cocktail at Shimmering Sips
- Hawai’ian Rice Bowl at Hawai’i

What are you excited for?
Foodie Tips to Have the Best Time at EPCOT Food and Wine
Being overly honest here – I have never attended this festival, so some of what I will be saying will come from firsthand experience from others.
- The best time to go to Food and Wine is October and November when the temperatures make sense for this autumnal festival. The food is generally heavier than other festivals and it can be real rough to eat venison, hot soups, and steaks in the hot, sweltering Florida heat.
- Skip the weekends. This goes for going to Disney in general, but this is when locals who are unable to go into the park are most likely to attend, but if you need to go try Sunday afternoon or evening. Because it will be busier on these days there’s a chance for food to not be done as well as it usually is during the weekdays.
- Lines will get long during the festival, if there are booths you know you want to eat at make a walking plan. If you see a booth with short lines hop in line and try a food option there – you never know what you may end up finding to be your favorite that way.
- Avoid the festival during meal peak times! The festival opens booths at 11 AM, peak time is usually between 12 to 2 PM and in the evening around 5 to 7 PM.
- If you want to see your favorite artist play during the Eat to the Beat concert series it is highly encouraged that you reserve a dining package. For popular acts, the lines start hours in advance for stand-by and you run the risk of being unable to be close to the action and not getting a seat.
- Regarding the Eat to the Beat package: it’s better you book early to choose the restaurant of your choice as early as you are able. Restaurants like Le Cellier Steakhouse and Akershus sell out quickly.
Critique of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival
This will be my first year at Food and Wine, so at this time I don’t have a lot of critiques of the festival. Keep abreast of this article though as I make my way through – I’m not quiet about things that bother me.
1 – Looking over the recent menu, I was a bit disappointed that there was still no addition of more African/Latin/Southwest Asian-centric cultures. Maybe next year?
2 – This is the third festival I’ll be attending – in a row – at EPCOT. Do the chefs hate the Morocco pavilion or something? It’s Grilled Kebabs with carrot-chickpea salad and garlic aïoli with the choice of Chermoula Chicken or Moroccan-spiced lamb at every one of them. Did Morocco fall off the face of the planet with food items or something? I’m not understanding what’s happening here. What memo did I miss because I’d like to be clued in.
Bon Appétit!
As we move into Food and Wine festival season this page will be updated as much as I am able.
To say I’m excited would be an understatement, but I hope you’re excited, too! Look at that robust menu, it looks amazing!
But if you haven’t as of yet, please follow us on our other social media channels (YouTube, Instagram & Tik Tok – @themeparkbites) to stay up to date on food reviews. Thank you for allowing us to be your tasty theme park companion!
